 Bruce Candline B.A., B.Sc., P.Eng. | Bruce Candline, Senior Engineer and Corporate Secretary of Smith + Andersen Falcon Engineering received his engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987. He began his engineering career that year with Transalta Utilities in Calgary, Alberta, working as an engineer in the substations department specializing in power system protection design and operations.
Bruce moved to Kelowna in 1989 to join Falcon Engineering Ltd. as a junior engineer and became a principal in the firm in 1991. Bruce has designed the electrical systems for a wide variety of projects including office buildings, public and private schools, health care facilities, air terminal buildings, sports arenas, multi-family residential buildings, and has prepared numerous facility condition assessments for these types of facilities. Bruce’s recent design experience has included several teaching facilities at UBC Okanagan, and multi-purpose sports facilities in Moose Jaw, Chilliwack, Langley, Victoria and Kelowna.
