S+A Falcon Story

On March 1, 2011, Smith + Andersen Falcon Engineering Ltd started doing business as a new company. This new company is a formal alliance between Falcon Engineering Ltd, electrical engineering, and Smith + Andersen Consulting Engineering.

It has opened a new chapter for Falcon Engineering and Smith + Andersen as it formalizes a long-time strategic alliance – both firms working across Canada. It is also something that clients have been requesting.

S+A Falcon will offer Mechanical and Electrical engineering, Lighting design, Communications (IT) design, and Electronic Safety and Security Systems design, not just on Vancouver-based projects, but across British Columbia, with offices in Kelowna, Vancouver (Burnaby), and Victoria.

With this strategic alliance The Smith + Andersen Group expands to a total staff of 260 in 8 offices across Canada and internationally. With each addition – new offices, new staff and this new relationship – we expand our expertise and the experience we bring to our clients every day.
